Privacy Policy
The short version
Snowpocalypse is an iPhone and iPad game made by Colin O'Reilly ("we", "us"). We do not collect, store, transmit, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Information we collect
None. Snowpocalypse does not send any information about you or your device to us or to anyone else. We don't run any servers for the game, and the app never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal data.
What stays on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves a small amount of game data only on your device, using standard iOS storage:
- High score and best level reached
- In-game Cold Cash, the hats you own and your Closet upgrades
- Settings (music, sound effects and haptics)
- Whether you've unlocked the full game
This data is used only to run the game. It never leaves your device and we can't see it.
In-App Purchase
The full game can be unlocked with an optional one-time In-App Purchase. Apple processes all payments through the App Store under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The game checks your purchase on your device using Apple's StoreKit.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Apple's Game Center, your high score may be posted to the Snowpocalypse leaderboard, where other players can see it alongside your Game Center nickname. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and we don't receive your Apple Account details or contact information. Game Center is optional: you can sign out, or change who sees your activity, in the Settings app under Game Center.
Third parties, advertising and tracking
The game contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services or trackers. We don't share or sell data to anyone, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
- Game data on your device stays there until you delete the app. Deleting Snowpocalypse deletes all of it.
- Your purchase is recorded by Apple on your Apple Account so you can restore it on any device.
- Game Center scores are managed by Apple. You can manage or request deletion of that data through Game Center settings or at privacy.apple.com.
- If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We delete them on request.
Your choices
Because we don't collect personal data, there's nothing for you to opt out of or revoke on our side. You can turn off Game Center at any time, and you can delete all game data by deleting the app. For any privacy question or deletion request, email us at the address below.
Children's privacy
Snowpocalypse is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
